The story
Every Lahori homeowner knows the routine. The geyser starts leaking on a Friday evening. You ask the WhatsApp group. Someone sends you a number. The plumber says he'll come at 11. He arrives at 4. He fixes one thing, breaks another, and quotes a price that depends entirely on what kind of mood you're in.
We started Karighar because we were tired of that routine — and because the karighars themselves are tired of it too. Skilled tradespeople deserve steady work and a real reputation, not a guessing game.

The name

Why "Karighar"?
کاريگر (karighar) is Urdu and Punjabi for "skilled craftsman" — a word that carries respect and pride for trade work. We chose it because that's what this platform is about: honouring skilled hands, the people behind every fixed pipe and freshly painted wall.
